Wow, on our 15th anniversary, we found a new favorite hike! This trail has so much: mountain lakes, streams, waterfalls, wildflowers, old mining structure, marmots, meadows, forest, and elevation. We saw many wildflowers including Bracted Lousewort, Yellow Buckwheat, Fireweed, Twinberry Honeysuckle, Hemlock Parsley, and Mountain Death Camas. As the name indicates, Mountain Death Camas is poisonous. We met some people training and preparing for the Hardrock 100 Endurance Race.
