Gray Back Peak

This hike is in a remote, less-visited area of South Cheyenne Canyon. It takes about as long to drive here as it does to complete the hike. There are no water features and few wildflowers. It is secluded, and offers views of the pretty Emerald Valley.

  1. Always nice to see the shadows of clouds on forests below. The massive scale of what it takes to produce that, and yet, from your far away perspective, it all just roll along like no big deal.
