This is a relatively level hike that follows Fooses Creek through the forest. We enjoyed the forest sights and sounds, and Sammy enjoyed the creek. The road to the trailhead is somewhat rough. The trail would be fun for hikers of any ability. This is a segment of the Colorado Trail. One could continue on it for miles, up to the Continental Divide and beyond.

Chris,
Love the insert identifying all the flowers….very cool. Thanks for that information. You must really have a list a mile long of all the identified flowers.
